ST. JOSEPH CEMETERY
3806 PINE AVENUE
NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14301

Rev. Austin Billerio, the third pastor of St. Joseph Church established St. Joseph Cemetery in May of 1920.  Twelve thousand dollars was raised to purchase the initial tract of 11 acres.  Today, the cemetery has grown to 17 acres of land.

The cemetery constructed it's four mausoleums in 1982 and completed the most recent in November of 2007.

There are approximately 13,000 graves, 1,968 crypts and niches for above ground burial.

St. Joseph Cemetery can accommodate the wishes of either yourself, or that of your loved ones.  We have several options available, such as the traditional in ground burial, full body entombment in one of our Mausoleums, or inurnment of cremains in a Niche either in a mausoleum, or in our recently built Padre Pio Columbarium, which is outdoors.  We also have in ground burials in the new Padre Pio section.

St. Joseph Cemetery gives you the opportunity to pay your respect to a loved one by spending time in one of our four mausoleums, or if you prefer, just spending some time at the Bethesda Meditation Garden, which is located between the St. Joseph and the John Paul II Mausoleums.  The garden provides a quiet space in a peaceful and prayerful atmospher allowing you some quiet time in meditation.

We are currently planning an addition to the newest mausoleum, John Paul II, with added features such as couch crypts, family units and glass niches.

We suggest that you give consideration to making your burial pre-arrangements. This will give you peace of mind, that when you, or a loved one passes away, these arrangements will be taken care of.  Upon death, there are countless decisions that have to be made in a very short period of time.  Due to the lack of time, arrangements are made in a hurry, with regrets after the burial takes place. Come and visit us at your convenience. Let us help you by showing you around and discussing the options available to you. Payment schedules can be made on pre-need arrangements. Please call our office at 716-282-1379 to speak to a representative.
