St. Joseph Outreach is a ministry of Holy Family of Jesus, Mary & Joseph Parish, and is dedicated to help the needy in the Falls area. The outreach program functions as a food pantry and has been in existence for 11 years. It is still growing and going strong. It is totally manned by volunteers, dedicated helping  the poor and needy. On average, the pantry services well over 350 families monthly, distributing food to supplement those who are in need. On a given month, we will service over 120 children, 250 adults, and 50 elderly (individuals on a fixed income) providing approximately 3,500 meals.

The outreach ministry totally depends on contributions of food and money from individuals as well as grants from the Western New York Food Bank. Since no one is paid for their services, all the financial contributions we receive are used to purchase additional food for the food bank. We are also grateful to Tops Friendly Market for their generous contribution of food items such as bread and baked goods, which we receive on a daily basis. DiCamillo Bakery in the Falls is also very generous in providing the pantry with bread, and baked goods. We feel that by helping the needy helps us fulfill the Gospel where Jesus says "What you do to the least of my brethren you do onto Me."
